Really lovely, versatile pattern with clean lines and a modern boxy fit. Easy and clear to assemble. Problems were strictly user error - do yourself a favour and use the Adobe layers feature to print only the size(s) you need to keep the markings clear. This is my 2nd CC pattern (1st: Ginger jeans) and I consistently have to lengthen through the waist by 2" even though I am fairly short (5'3"). Otherwise, the fit is perfect, and I will be making all views. My first attempt was view A (short sleeve t) in a gauzy crinkle cotton, but I am itching to make another in something more substantial like a slubby silk noil. Highly recommended!
I made the Cielo top up in a sheer white pique' and lined it. I made the short version with short sleeves and really love it. I'm looking forward to spring so I can wear it. I think it will become one of my favorite tops.
I have made 3 Cielo tops and looove them all. I added 2 inches length because I sit on the floor with children all day but otherwise made no changes. The directions are clear and easy to follow. I get compliments when I wear my Cielos!
This is my go-to woven top.
(or at least nothing that wasn't a rectangle!), but this pattern was so well written. I recently tried a different pattern that was not from Closet Core and let's just say... they forgot to tell you some important steps. This pattern is great for beginners because they give you definitions and pictures for every single step. My end product was so cute and fit me well. I am excited to try it again and maybe make a dress next.
Made the Cielo with short sleeves and pockets in a rust colored medium weight line and I couldn't be more pleased! So comfortable and versatile. Can wear it as a summer dress or with jeans or leggings under it. I've received many compliments. I'm sure I'll make more next summer.
