Nettie is a quick and easy-to-make wardrobe staple. Make a close-fitting bodysuit or knit dress, with a choice of three sleeve lengths, two necklines and three back variations.

Both dress and bodysuit can be made with a bateau or scoop neckline, with the choice of high, mid or low scoop back. Add your choice of short, 3/4 or long sleeves. The bodysuit features a low-cut bottom and optional snap crotch, and the leg and neck openings are all finished with knit bands.

quick easy sew, fitted bodycon style

i've made the dress version twice and is a lovely fitted dress, it looks small when sewn up but needs to be so the shoulders stay on. i attached the neckband back to front the first time as i didn't realise the back was lower then the front! make sure you have a good stretch fabric with recovery. i did one in a sports knit and that works too.

This sew was easier than it looked!

I purchased the Nettie bodysuit/dress pattern and sewed up the bodysuit in a merino knit. I haven't sewed a lot of knit patterns, but this went very smoothly. I was pleased with the shape and the fit. I have worn it sitting around the house as well as out rollerskating with my teen and I found it is comfy in either circumstance. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a comfy, feminine shirt that stays tucked in.

First but not last Closet Case

This was the first of my CC purchases, and I have only made the body suit so far. There are endless variations, and since the first went together so nicely, there will definitely be more. I loved the suggestion and the instructions for the optional shelf bra. This option creates just enough coverage to camoflage a seamed bra under a knit garment. It's brilliant!
