Morgan Jeans Pattern
Inspired by old-school denim but with a fresh, modern cut, Morgan Jeans are a classic five-pocket jean designed for non-stretch denim.
Featuring a mid-rise, contoured waistband, tapered leg and button fly, Morgan fits snugly through the hip but relaxes and conforms to your curves with a little wear (size up for a slouchier, more casual fit). Choose between a regular or cropped inseam, and add an optional leather waistband patch.
Sizes: Currently available in sizes 0-20 only (print and PDF)

Simple à réaliser et parfaitement bien ajusté... Ce patron m'a permise de coudre un Jeans qui me va à merveille ! C'est très satisfaisant! :)
I love the Morgan jeans I made! Ok the size was a bit too big, but I choose a size bigger, but fortunately I could alter the side seams, so now they fit well. They were not difficult to make, thanks to the very clear instructions!! Big hooray for that!!
As I'm still new to sewing, I was worried about tackling a fitted garment, but I ended up with a great pair of pants. The pattern instructions and additional resources (especially the guide to fit adjustments) were very helpful, and I'm already planning my next pair.
Tried these as my first pair of pants and it went really smoothly thanks to the well written instructions and pattern. They are a very modern fit and are actually stylish which is great. I'll definitely be making these again with maybe a smidge taken out of the width of the upper thigh/hip.
Love this pattern. Makes a great pair of jeans. Definitely a do again.
My first attempt at sewing jeans (shorts) and thanks to the Morgan pattern it was a success! I used quite a lightweight striped denim. Although the instructions are long they are easy to follow. I very much appreciated the additional information on getting the right fit. It took me a bit of time to get the fit right and I had to make a number of small tweaks but I'm tall and should probably have taken this into consideration earlier in the process. Will definitely use the pattern again, maybe with a zip next time.
